The Women’s Empowerment Unit was established through Administrative Resolution No. 412001486, dated 8/2/1442 AH. This resolution outlined the university's administrative structure and organizational guidelines, aligning with the university’s new strategic plan inspired by the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. The director was appointed to lead a team of female employees and members, working collaboratively to achieve the goals and aspirations. The unit adopted specific strategies and initiatives to empower women in the workplace, organizing activities and events to serve its objectives. The progress was measured by indicators, leading to the development of balanced plans based on carefully studied strategies to accomplish the unit’s mission of empowering women in both the university and society in the Northern region, in line with the ambitious vision of women empowerment in the nation.
