General Objective:

The primary goal of this unit is to implement the university's policies regarding the operations of scientific associations within the institution. This involves providing scientific consultations and studies.

Tasks:

1. Preparing plans for the unit's activities and monitoring their execution after approval.

 2. Suggesting general aims and strategies for the unit's activities and following up on their implementation once approved. 

3. Proposing guidelines and procedures to regulate the unit's operations, following up on their implementation after approval.

 4. Providing oversight for scientific associations, their founding committees, and boards of directors. 

5. Reviewing and assessing transactions from scientific associations and forwarding them to relevant experts.

 6. Managing the election process for selecting scientific associations' boards of directors.

 7. Receiving suggestions from the university's colleges and deanships to enhance the work of scientific associations. 

8. Proposing frameworks and guidelines for establishing new scientific associations. 

9. Conducting annual evaluations to assess the efficacy and quality of work within scientific associations.

10. Providing administrative consultations regarding the internal regulations of scientific associations.

11. Creating opportunities for communication between scientific associations, the university, scientific institutions, and various professional bodies in accordance with the regulations and bylaws.

12. Supporting and developing the results and outputs of scientific research associations in their areas of specialization.

13. Participating in determining the unit's needs for human resources, equipment, and materials and their implementation after approval.

14. Determining the training needs of the unit's employees to nominate them for appropriate training programs.

15. Preparing periodic reports on the unit's activities, achievements, and proposals for developing its performance.

16.  Any other tasks assigned to them.
