Permanent Committee for Appointments, Conferences, Sabbaticals and Scientific Communication

The committee's duties are as follows:

• Recommending approval or disapproval of applications for appointment at the university to the position of assistant professor or above.

• Considering and recommending requests to appoint faculty members from outside the university.

• Recommending approval or disapproval of requests for the transfer of services of faculty members and their equivalents regarding:

                                       - Transfer from the university to another university or from a destination outside the university to the university.

 

                                       - Transferring from one college to another within the university.

 

                                       - Transferring from one department to another within the university.

 

• Considering and recommending early retirement requests for faculty members.

• Considering and recommending resignation requests for faculty members.

• Considering and recommending requests to change specialization for faculty members.

• Recommending approval or disapproval of granting sabbatical leave to Saudi faculty members.

• Recommending approval or disapproval for faculty members to conduct scientific communication.

• Recommending the adoption of sabbatical termination and academic communication reports.

• Recommending approval or disapproval for faculty members to attend conferences.

• Everything assigned to her by the Scientific Council within the scope of her work.
